sicko

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 7, 2008, 5:02 PM
mmmehh... I got the flu on vacation..... uhhhh.

umm, yeah. I'm online after about a week of being offline. I got a whole bunch of faves and stuffles. Thanks to everyone but I cant answer everything right now.

uhhhh... I may be a sicko but its better than a psycho (like the rest of my family) jk, jk, jk.

anywho, other than being sick, I'm having a blast.

no really, I am. I spent the 4th of July in the capital, at the mall (mall= stretch of grass between the washington memorial and a whole bunch of other memorials) and I toured the white house.

I also say the Air and Space Smithsonian museums and the International Spy museum. They were awesome. Probably the best part of the trip so far.

bye.

Vacation!

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 24, 2008, 2:11 PM
I'm going on vacation with my lovely (and strange) family for about two weeks. I'll be leaving later this week!
I might be able to go onto the computer during vacation... or I might not. But I will definitely not have a scanner, tablet, time to draw, or energy to draw.
So, no art for a while. I'm trying desperately to finish somehting that I've been working on, so we'll see if I get it done.

My list of projects will have to wait...

Anyway, I got this journal thing from :iconswiftfox13: and I thought it was pretty cool. I modified it a bit though.
And, if you don't comment soon, I won't be able to do it because I will be gone on vacation.
eh. i shall try this. don't hate me if it doesn't work i.i

Post a comment and I'll...

a) Tell you why I friended you:
b) Associate you with something:
c) Tell you something I like about you:
d) Tell you a memory I have of you:
e) Tell you my favorite user pic of yours:
f) In return, you must post this in your journal
... or don't that's okay with me .

The Host/Crime and Punishment.

This is for all you Stephanie Meyer fans out there. Read The Host. It's really good. For those of you who have no idea what it is, it is a wonderful 620+ page book (that is fairly easy reading- I finished it in one day) by the brilliant writer Stephanie Meyer. It is different from her previous books (Twilight, Eclipse, and New Moon) but it is really, really good and suspenseful with the same whirlwind romance that is characterized in the Twilight Saga. I highly recommend it, although it was about $23 at Barnes & Nobles. On sale. So you might want to wait until your local library gets it.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky (I think I spelled that right...). It's a classic by a Russion, in case you didn't know. I always hate classics while I'm reading them but afterwards I'm happy that I did. Emma by Jane Austen is an exception. I hate that book. Crime and Punishment spoiler warning. I need to rant a bit about it. There was an EIGHT PAGE letter. EIGHT PAGES. from Raskolnikov's (the main character's) mother. Could she write with more repitition and detail?!?!? And then Raskolnikov just murdered a little old woman. With an ax (AX MURDERER!!!). So he could steal her money... and he goes on and on in insane monologues.... ughh.... my poor brain. And I'm only on page 75 out of about 575 pages.... If I suddenly turn into a drooling lump on the floor with an IQ of a cabbage, you know why.

Ohh and Happy Mother's Day!!
