"...without wisdom, imagination is a cruel taskmaster." from the book The Shack by William P. Young.
This has been my work for this spring break. It took many, many hours. 0_o Yes, I did use a reference for the horse. The picure was taken against out lovely kitchen linolium floor, in case you're wondering.
I named the horse Suzanna. I have no idea why, I just think she needed a name.
Used acrylic paints and paint marker and.. umm.. pen (of some forgotten brand that ran out of ink just as I was finishing up) on an 18x24" canvas panel.
Umm don't use this. For anything. It belongs to me. Not that I can think of anything anyone would want to use this for...
Edit: Ugh! I keep on trying to full view this picture and my computer WON'T LET ME!!! Is this just my computer or all computers?

i can full view it just fine, and it is gorgeous it's a pity that the photo quality is so-so, because the little background details look really amazing. good job on the horse, too

For me, full view works too ^^ And it's huge ._. Now I can see all the details (the carrot XD) I think you did a really great job, especially with the horse! Even with references, I think it's still hard to draw them and get the proportions and all their muscles and sinews right ^^ The picture has a certain flair I really like!
Thanks! Yeah, it is huge. I wanted to show off all of the details
Yes, I like my carrot. I was starting to go out of my mind with running out of stuff to doodle but wanting to be done... Thank you! It's been years since I have tried to draw a horse. I gues a bit of it came back to me as I worked.
